Suddenly, I found myself needing to take care of a tiny little human who required help with everything. Being a first time mama. Looking after a newborn baby.
A plateful of client projects and no family nearby who could help. Oh yeah, and this was during a global pandemic. Have you seen that meme on social media? The one claiming that we all have the same 24 hours as Beyonce.
Well, it’s technically true in a mathematical sense. We need to acknowledge that Beyonce likely has an army of housekeepers, personal chefs, trainers, nannies, and chauffeurs. A whole entourage at her disposal.
Not everyone has the same options and resources and some people’s hours are devalued by circumstances beyond their control. Life can be extraordinarily stressful.
And I want you to know if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or up against the wall. You’re not alone. The feeling of being lost is shared by many. And while this won’t change your situation, hopefully, it can bring you some comfort to know that you’re not alone.
Luckily for me, my business and YouTube channel were set up in a way that supported me during the cray cray times. I know you might be thinking, ‘okay, Sara, we get it’, YouTube is important.
And no, YouTube is not important. YouTube is vital to having a business that can run without you. While YouTube is a part of the puzzle, it’s a huge and necessary part of the puzzle. And if you actually want to be able to take time off when the what ifs happened in life, YouTube is essential.
Even when I was unable to actively participate in my business, I continue to earn. Who could blame me? I was soaking in the joy of motherhood among the chaos, but guess what?
Despite being mentally, physically, and emotionally drained my business was there for me when I returned, all thanks to YouTube. And this can be your reality too. Imagine having a safety net that allows you to bring in revenue, even when you have other things going on, taking your attention, or maybe you’re just in survival mode for a bit and need some time out.
I didn’t always have my YouTube framework set up and running. For a long time, I was scattered and I just winged it with my business. And I got by, but I was in a constant cycle of feast or famine and it was exhausting.
I was constantly worried about money. I can tell you now that having a YouTube system in place is way better than not having one set up. Introducing a YouTube system shifted my business from a high stress grumble to a smooth operation.
It eliminated the unpredictability and inconsistency that was my business before. Now I have a steady stream of income and predictable workflow, which allows me to balance my personal life and professional commitments much more effectively.
This has not only brought about financial stability, but also significantly reduced stress. Freeing me to enjoy my journey as a new mother and entrepreneur. I know you might feel a little bit overwhelmed with where to even start with this whole YouTube system thing.
