If you could go back in time and tell your younger past self anything, what would it be? Don’t date that guy. Order from the truffle menu, it’s on special. Die your hair, hmm, probably not.
Chances are, you would probably tell yourself one or more of the top five regrets of the dying. Like, I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself. Not the life others expected of me. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
I wish I had the courage to express my feelings. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. I wish that I had let myself be happier. I know it’s kind of heavy to bring up, but I can’t not talk about this.
The whole reason I have my YouTube channel and business is this. It’s because I want to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends. I don’t want to have to regret.
That I wish I didn’t work so much. And I want to do it while also making decent money. I’m a have-your-bougie-cake-and-eat-it kind of girl. But that’s not going to happen if I tried to do it all for my YouTube channel.
And it’s definitely not going to happen if I’m not being smart about how I run my business. That means being intentional about my YouTube videos and giving myself the option to make consistent income from my channel this year and for years to come.
I’m a big advocate of leveraging YouTube to build your authority and increase your sales. All while lovingly nurturing and helping your audience.
Having YouTube actually work for me means I can seek proof, baby proof, unexpected life event proof my business, so it can run without me if it ever needs to. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned from life, it’s that there will be times that it needs to,
like when loved ones pass away. When you become a new mama. When you have to take time off to cope with things that life can throw at you.
And I’ve helped YouTube creators and business coaches in a variety of niches do the same thing. From graphic designers to life coaches, course creators to spiritual coaches and more.
Pretty much anyone who wants to help people with their knowledge by earning more without exhausting themselves. I help them make it happen with YouTube. But most people wait. It doesn’t seem urgent enough.
They think they’ll have enough time. The unexpected waits for no one. And when, not if the day comes that you suddenly need to earn more because you either want to take time off to take care of some personal stuff, like having a baby, going through a separation, taking care of an elderly or sick family member or maybe you want to start looking to retire and need more reliable income that doesn’t require you to be working all the time.
