It’s been a few months since you’ve heard from me. Life, right?
So beautiful and chaotic at the same time.
But last week, something happened that that made me realise I needed to reach out.
Listen to the podcast audio
A client asked for “a quick presentation” on our strategy moving forward.
You know, the kind of “quick” ask that usually means staying up until 2 AM the night before, wrestling with slides that refuse to look professional no matter how many stock photos you add.
Except this time, I did something different.
I opened my AI presentation tool, gave it my rough notes, and asked it to help me create a detailed presentation. Not just an outline, an actual visual presentation with cohesive design and compelling storytelling.
30 minutes later (instead of the whole night), I had 15 completed slides that looked like I’d hired a high end designer.
The client loved it. But more importantly, I actually enjoyed the process.
Here’s what hit me: We’re all sitting here with access to this incredible AI assistant, but most of us are still making presentations the way we did in 2010. Opening PowerPoint, staring at blank slides, spending 40 minutes choosing fonts that still look amateur.
Meanwhile, AI can:
- Transform your bullet points into a narrative that actually flows
- Generate entire slide layouts that don’t look like a middle school project
- Create visual consistency without you touching a single design element
- Cut your presentation prep time from hours to minutes
I just posted a YouTube tutorial showing you the 4 best presentation tools I’ve tested to help us do this → [Watch my AI presentation tutorial here]
Fair warning: Once you see how simple this is, you might get a little angry about all those hours and days you spent moving text boxes around.
But here’s what I’ve realised after months of experimenting with AI tools: This isn’t about AI replacing our creativity. It’s about AI handling the tedious parts so we can focus on what actually matters. Our message, our ideas, our unique perspective.
Think about it. How many brilliant ideas have died in your head because you didn’t have time to create “proper” presentation materials?
How many opportunities have you passed on because the thought of making another deck made you want to cry?
We’re living in this weird moment where the tools exist to completely transform how we work, but most of us are still stuck in old patterns because… well, change is uncomfortable.
Ready to get uncomfortable in the best way?
Come back and tell me how it goes. I’m genuinely curious if you have the same “where has this been all my life?” moment I did.
Talk soon (from wherever I’ve been hiding these past few months),
Sara ✨
P.S. Yes, I used AI to help polish this email too. Meta? Maybe. Effective? Absolutely. Time saved? About 45 minutes. Time I can now spend actually connecting with you instead of agonising over the perfect opening line.
