So let’s have a look at how to access and use the Pinterest app.
To install Pinterest on your iPad click on the App Store search for Pinterest in the top-right-hand corner search bar.
Select the Pinterest app and click on the cloud button to download it.
Once the app has finished installing you can open it. An icon will also be placed on your iPad screen.
Log into your Pinterest account.
If you’d like for Pinterest to send you notifications you can press ok.
I’m going to click don’t allow and from here I can access my Pinterest account.
I can view my profile, add new boards and also pin content from the web, from photos that I have and other pins on Pinterest just like I would on desktop.
To create a board I would click on my profile which is the little circle person in the bottom.
Then, I would click on the plus button. I’ll click on create a new board. Name the board, I can write the description for the board here and I can also assign it to a category.
I can choose to make the board secret which means that it’s only available to me and people who I select. I don’t want to do that because I want to make sure that it’s publicly visible on Pinterest.
I can allocate an map location for the board if it’s relevant and add other collaborators as well.
I would invite them by entering their name or email they need to be Pinterest users in order to be a collaborator on the board.
Once I’m happy with that, I’ll click create and the new board has been created on my Pinterest profile.
From here I can go and start searching for pins to add to the board.
Adding pins to my board is extremely easy, it’s a matter of touching it, pinning it, and assigning it to the board.
One of the great things about having the Pinterest app whether you have it on your iPad, your iPhone, or your Android is that you’re able to search for content in at the Pinterest newsfeed still and if you find things that are relevant for your audience it’s extremely easy to simply click on the pin and pin it.
You have the same option to select the board and to save it to your board. So you can literally pin wherever you are.
Another extremely cool feature that you can utilize from your Pinterest app is the ability to pinned apps.
So say that you’re searching in the App Store or Play Store and you come across an app that you’d like to pin.
You simply click on the app and then you can simply pin it to one of your boards.
Just like that, enabling you to pin not just content but also useful apps for your followers as well.
So there you have it a step-by-step guide on how to use Pinterest on mobile using the Pinterest app.
