So you’re interested in using Facebook Live for your business but you want to do it strategically so you don’t waste time and actually generate leads and sales. In this video I’m going to share three different strategies you can use to help you get more customers using Facebook Live. Stay tuned.

Facebook Live is a very powerful marketing tool that allows you to live stream from your phone to an audience online, thanks to our friends at Facebook. But how do we convert these viewers into customers?
Strategy #1 Product demos
The first Facebook Live strategy to help you get more customers from Facebook Live is to do product demonstrations. Yes, demo your product. It’s a simple concept, but companies like the Home Shopping Network and QVC thrive off being able to demonstrate their products because – what better way to create trust and credibility for your product than to put your products in front of the camera and show people how it works and how it can solve their problems.
Whether it’s beauty products, fine leather goods, food products, equipment or anything tangible, showcasing your product in action is a solid strategy to help you connect with your audience and to convert them to buy it.
Strategy #2 Share your top tips and tricks
The second Facebook Live strategy works particularly well if you don’t have something you can physically demonstrate. So if you are a service business this strategy is to share your top tricks and tips. Everybody loves tips and tricks, especially when they’re easy to digest pieces of information that they can implement right away to help them get results fast.
So think about the top five things that you would advise a customer to do to help them move towards their goals or away from their pain. If you’re health and fitness coach you could talk about the top five foods to eat to help you lose weight faster as your tips. If you’re an interior designer you could talk about five tips to help you style your living room on a budget. You could ask your audience what they are interested in knowing more about or write up tips for frequently asked questions that you’re constantly asked.
Sharing your tips positions you as an expert creating more trust with your audience. And the more that they know, like and trust you, the more likely they are to buy from you.
Strategy #3 Share case studies or success stories
The third Facebook Live strategy to help you get more customers is to share case studies or success stories. What you would do in this strategy is ideally talk about a client or even your own results and wins that you have had from using your own products systems or processes.
For example as a health fitness coach you could talk about how you managed to lose weight without fasting or denying yourself of the food and lifestyle you enjoy. What did you do? Where were you when you started it? How did it make you feel when you achieved your goals?
Or you could talk about a client, you don’t have to mention their name if they want to remain anonymous and how you helped them reach their weight loss goals. To make it even more fun you could interview your client live if they’re happy to tell their story.
This strategy helps you connect with your audience and it helps them understand how you can deliver the results that you promised you can do through your own results or your client’s results.
And there you have my top three Facebook Live strategies to help you get more customers from Facebook live using product demos, top tips and tricks and success stories.
After you’ve done your product demo, shared your top tips or done your case study, you want to make sure that you then make it very clear about how the viewer can take the next step to work with you.
Whether that’s posting a link to your products to get more product sales with a coupon code or whether it’s sending them a link to a form so they can book a free consultation or whether it’s sending them a link to sign up to your email form. After you’ve done any of these three strategies you need to make sure that you’ve incorporated a call to action to wrap it all up.
